How Many Horses Can You See on Nine Horse Mountain?

Legend has it that on the side of this mountain there are nine horses, and that the more a person sees, the greater they will be.

Also called Nine-Horse Painted Hill and Mountain of Nine Horses is located in Yangshuo county in the northeastern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. Here are a few more pictures to help you declare your great status!

Rarest Ponies in the World N-W

Rare Ponies N-WIt’s a sad fact of our modern world that animal species must pay the ultimate price to make way for our urban sprawl. Civilization was built on the back of the equine species and many of them carry low numbers.

To help combat that I’ve been posting about rare horse & pony breeds of the world to help draw attention to their contribution & the efforts to save them.
