Western Week of Del Mar National Horse Show

Often referred to simply as ‘Del Mar’, he Del Mar National originated as part of the annual San Diego County Fair and is now in its 64th year of operation.

Western week kicks off the festivities and begins three weeks of intense competition and exciting festivities.

One of the most prestigious horse shows in the western region and steeped in tradition, many spectators purchase yearly box seats for the whole family.

The show attracts over 3,000 horses during competition weeks and is held in a recently refurbished world-class facility.

Competitors will compete in western classes, precision reining patterns and lightning speed barrel racing.
