Corn Plant
Name: Dracaena fragrans, cornstalk dracaena
Description: A slow growing shrub with leaves that can grow up to 20 feet. Leaves grow in rosettes, are glossy broad and striped with light green and yellow. Flowers are white / pink / that grow in spiked and are very fragrant.
Concern level: Only during drought conditions, unpalatable. Often used for house plants and landscaping.
Toxic parts: The whole plant is toxic.
Symptoms: Gastrointestinal upset, diarrhea, depression, dilated pupils, difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, excessive drooling, lack of coordination, weakness.
