Description

Annual, biennial and perennial, size varies depending on species. Leaves are lobed, toothed and pointed. Flowers are purple / blue / red / yellow / white, have five petals and grow in a spur.

Symptoms

Burning and irritation of mouth and throat, diarrhea, weakness, muscle spasms, paralysis of respiratory function, convulsions, death.

Danger

Contains delphinine and ajacine alkaloids which can be fatal.
