Emerald Feather Fern
Names: Asparagus densiflorus, asparagus fern
Description: Erect perennial fernlike herb. Leaves alternate and tiny. Flowers are drooping, with six parts, bell-shaped and yellow / green. Fruit is a bright red berry.
Concern level: Only during drought conditions, unpalatable.
Toxic parts: Berries and plant sap.
Symptoms: Gastrointestinal upset, irritation, swelling and blisters anywhere sap comes into contact with skin.
Danger: Unknown toxic principle.
