Today’s video is episode one of a series that I just recently ran across. The Horse’s Mouth tells the inspirational stories of horses & their people.

Each episode is dedicated to a different horse lover, their equestrian facilities and their horsey friends. The first episode interviews trail guide & rancher Mac Makenny and his wife Dr. Susan Lea-Makenny on location at Homeplace Ranch in the Calgary, Alberta foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Cultural Experience

As most of my readers know I love to see the different types of horse cultures found throughout the world. Although the ‘new world’ countries are way behind in terms of lengthy equestrian cultures, they are developing in their own right and it’s fun to watch it happen. Stay tuned for episode 2 next week.
