Description

In memory of dear friend and horsewoman Carol Green who passed away in September of this year, Equinology will offer a scholarship to the EQ102: Equinology® Equine Body Worker Course and Retreat held October 10-27, 2011 in Northern CA at The Sea Ranch.

Carol brought unquenchable passion and enthusiasm to everything she undertook. If an organization was in need of income, their efforts at fundraising always were an overwhelming success with Carol at the helm.

When she decided to build a unique horse facility, she outdid herself in creating Sundance Ranch in Calistoga. Sundance Ranch, named after her Tennessee Walking Horse, reflected Carol’s own sense of beauty and looked like something out of Sunset Magazine by the time she was finished. Despite her commitment to the community and to her many horses, Carol was always there for a friend needing advice or direction, and she always had constructive insights to offer.

Carol is missed by everyone she knew. To remember Carol with a smile and to continue her gift of giving, Equinology is offering this full scholarship for the Equine Body Worker Certification Course in her true spirit and in her memory.

The Carol Green Memorial Scholarship will cover the full tuition for one student for the
EQ102: Equinology® Equine Body Worker Course and Retreat held October 10-27, 2011 in Northern CA at The Sea Ranch which also includes class supplies ($2995). Since the scholarship’s announcement, a local friend of Carol Green’s at the Sea Ranch has generously offered a private bedroom and bathroom for use during the course to help defray any lodging expenses. Details for the course can be found at: http://www.equinology.com/info/course.asp?courseid=8

You should include your horse experience within the body of the essay.
