Silk Road Marauder (a.k.a “Teddy”) is a 15.3 hand 2005 purebred golden buckskin Akhal-Teke gelding. The Akhal-Teke has a unique hair trait that allows for a metallic sheen…. the golden colors reflect the most light and are what this breed is famous for! Teddy has gorgeous good looks, athletic conformation, powerful hindquarters, and silky-smooth gaits. He was started with natural horsemanship and is currently in professional training for three-day eventing, dressage, and jumping. He’s proving to be an uncomplicated ride with potential for many disciplines and suitable for a variety of experience levels. Teddy has a one-of-a-kind people-loving personality and a desire to please. He’s easy to train, easy to handle, and is a joy to have at our barn. He is the kind of horse anybody can ride!
