Description
A rapidly expanding company in a new and exciting arena is looking to recruit a trainee Veterinary Thermographer to run their own mobile practice. The role involves taking images of a variety of species of animals with a thermal imaging camera during a professional consultation, and compiling these into a report for vets and other professionals to use as a diagnostic tool. An initial investment into equipment, training and qualification is required.
You will be responsible for all aspects of managing the practice in your area and for driving new business, for which we’ll give you full training and ongoing support. You’ll have a flexible approach to work, enabling you to meet the demand from clients in a timely manner.
We’re looking for people with experience and confidence when working with a variety of animals, and who also like working with people. You’ll have excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, good time management and drive and determination. You will have a very good knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology, or a willingness to learn this. No previous knowledge of thermography is required as we’ll give you full training, leading to qualifications in this field. You will need a full driving licence as the service offered is mobile.
