Looking for Equestrian Instructors/Counselors for the Summer of 2011!

Camp counseling is a demanding but exciting and adventurous job with unlimited rewards. In addition to food, lodging, and salary compensation, the personal rewards gained from working with young people in a resident camp environment are tremendous.

YMCA Camp Willson (located in Bellefontaine, OH), is currently adding to our family of staff and we want you to join us! We are looking for junior and senior counselors interested in taking part in our equestrian programs.

Responsible to the Equestrian Director, riding instructors will work in one of our two barns, planning for and effectively supervising campers participating in our riding, lesson and trail ride programs.

This position requires:
– Ability to work hard in an outdoor environment
– Desire to work with and relate to children
– Experience with riding and caring for horses
– Good role model, high integrity, reliability
– At least 17 years of age
– Willingness to accept supervision and guidance
