I am looking for employment in the horse industry. I began my quest into the equine world at the age of 9 with volting in my home town in Germany. To that I later added flat-work, dressage and jumping. Papa was a farrier and Riding Instructor, Mama writes informational books about the horse. I brought up to 1st level Dressage (with the help of a wonderful trainer) my off the track TB.
The past 6 1/2 years (June 2005-August 2011) I have been employed as the Stable Manager at CrossRails Riding Academy here in Florida. My duties included: daily turn-out and feeding of between 23-30 horses, mucking of stalls and paddocks. Worming- blanketing- grooming; lunging and schooling. Responsible for setting up vet and farrier visits; wound and colic care. Administering meds and vet after care.
Also responsible for the ordering of hay and feed as well as needed supplements. In charge of hiring and training barn help.

In addition I dealt with clients concerns, set up lessons and introduced potential boarders to our facility.
Solely responsible for the care of all animals when owner went on vacation.
I also worked and lived on-site at a private home to take care of the owners 4 horses due to the owners busy schedule from February 2005 – February 2006 prior to my moving into the facility mentioned above. Position was terminated when the owners relocated.

Lived on site so would prefer the same. Also have one horse (George) who would need a paddock/stall to accommodate him.
Willing to relocate.
I am mature (late 40’s) honest,reliable and hard-working.
