It’s always fun to see how horse people around the globe celebrate their animals & horsemanship traditions. The Feria de Mataderos is a fair in Argentina developed to promote cultural roots and share local customs.

The festivities are broken into three areas, traditional crafts, an art festival and goucho abilities & displays of equestrian skill. In addition to the crafts there are workshops, lectures & exhibitions.

Easy There Cowboy…
It looks like a fun celebration, and some serious skill…although they can be a little rough with their animals. Every day I feel more for the noble equine – as they continue to shoulder every burden we thrust upon them. That said, their animals look fat, sleek well tended.
