Behind The Scenes – Heather Robinson Equine Fashion Shoot

Click to see VideoIt seems that horses have a royal spot in the fashion world that never goes out of style. Over the decades bits of the ‘equine look’ have come in and out of vogue as has using horses in haute couture ads.

Behind The Scenes

This video is a behind the scenes look at an equine photo shoot with model Heather Robinson who made number 1 on Fitness Magazines ‘Hot & Fit 100’ list for 2011. The setting is beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico…the prop, one skinny chestnut horse that looks like he could use a vacation himself.

Not So Impressed Miss Heather

What do you guys think? Should horses be used as free props when they have clearly missed a few meals? My opinion is this: who cares how fit her butt is, someone get that horse some hay!

Give that horse some hay! Who uses a horse as a prop, especially when it’s not being/been treated well. :(

I had to stop watching the video. I was so mad by the condition that the horse appeared to be in. I looked right beyond a beautiful lady, wonder what she would look like if treated like the horse has been and no make up on, at the POOR horse. It looks like it has been drugged and not fed for a long time. It takes some time for a horse to look this far down. Some one please give the horse a bail of hay and a five gallon bucket of feed for a few month every dayso it will get healthy again.

I couldn’t finish watching the video either Robert, and I can’t believe they haven’t been reported for cruelty to animals! Horses are beautiful creatures and not one of them for any reason should be treated like that. :(

      Snoo :)

I find this sort of surprising, since this is a photo shoot, and their most concern is the beauty and appearance of it, don’t you think they would want to have the best looking horse they could find? The withers are sticking out, it’s got a swayback, looks like it’s cow hocked AND ribs showing…
And the model herself looks really fake to begin with.

Wow it is surprising, like ‘Jackie’ says, like if they want a pretty woman wouldn’t they want a horse that didn’t look half dead? shows how ignorant the people in the ‘normal’ world can be
