Jackie Baker – Horse Blogger of the Week

Regarding HorsesToday’s blogger of the week is Jackie Baker, you can find more of her stuff on her blog Regarding Horses (& don’t forget to grab her RSS feed while you are there).

Not just maintaining her own blog, Jackie also writes a blog about her horse Ace & the trials & tribulations of her first venture into horse ownership. On her own blog Jackie’s articles are well-laid out and easy to read, plus she provides close coverage of the upcoming 2010 World Equestrian Games and their regular WEG Radio Show.

While Jackie’s personal focus is on the sport disciplines, her advice & information are solid and can be applied to a number of equestrian lifestyles.

Regarding Horses

Great Reading

Some of these links are pages, some are posts she has written on her blog. All of them provide us with more information about her and the sporting horse world as she sees it.

Enough Weekend Reading For Now

There is a lot here to read and a great selection of Jackie’s work, here’s a quick recap of places you can find her stuff online.

Stay tuned because next Friday we’ll be visiting the writing talents of Julie at Riding Aside.

Do you write a horse blog? If so I’d love to check it out & add it to my RSS reader. Leave the url & your information in the comments so I can come check it out!

YW Jackie, I’ve been reading you for a long time now. :) Thanks for the recommendation I’m always looking for new horse writers to check out.

P.S. I’m also @2010WEG on Twitter, where I keep most of the horsey talk as well as obviously World Equestrian Games coverage.

Good heavens, Jackie! Congrats on the mention and thanks very much for mentioning Retired Racehorse! It is a pleasure to write and I’m thrilled that other people enjoy it.

I’d always wanted to put together a web site much like Regarding Horses that is more aggregated news and things, but I’m just not able to keep up with the world outside of my own string of Thoroughbreds! So we all appreciate you doing that legwork for us!

    Thanks again,
