When did you first start drawing horses?
I have been drawing horses for as long as I can remember, but I deceided that I wanted to be a professional artist when I was 12, and when I was 14 I started drawing people’s horses for them, and that is what I prefer to do, is draw portraits of other peoples horses.

What is your favorite breed?
I don’t really have one, I like a lot of breeds for different reasons and can’t really compare them. I currently own and Paint and a mini.

Do you (or did you) have an animal that is the muse behind your work?
No, its just horses that inspire me. I think apart from people they are God’s most beautiful creation and I just love to study them.

Do you have any secret rituals you do to help you get in the zone for your art?
Not that I can think of. Although my favorite place to draw is in my bedroom with the radio on.

Is there a particular place that brings you inspiration?
Being outside and around horses inspires me. I can spend hours just watching them graze in the back pasture.

What effect do you think the Internet will have on art in general?
I think it will really help artists advertise and it makes it easier for a prespective client to see your art work without taking a road trip.

I can’t it was a gift to my cousin, I drew it in memory of her horse.
