The Simple Beauty of Hay

Hay Field

There is something about the smell of fresh hay that makes every horse person feel at home. It is the fuel of work (and play) animals from every corner of the globe.

In my searches to find beautiful photography of the equine nature I often run across rare treats. A spectacular new perspective on something so very common and ordinary.

Whether it is growing, stacked in bales or being ground between huge molars, hay is the lifeblood of many rural cultures & communities.

More Serene

There are few things more serene than a field of hay blowing gently in the breeze. Although I might be able to come up with something close, check out some lovely images of stables, barns & pastures.
