    You will
    • be mainly responsible for the jumping equestrian teaching and schooling of horses at the Beas River Equestrian Centre (BREC), supervised by the BREC Chief Riding Instructor
    • teach riders of all ages, accompany students to competitive events and act as a “coach”
    • re-educate retired racehorses for future equestrian use locally and in competitions
    • undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested from time to time by the BREC Chief Riding Instructor (e.g. assistance in co-ordination of local and international shows)

    You should have
    • a friendly, passionate and hard working personality
    • at least 4-5 years of solid experience in teaching people to ride and in training horses from early handling to maturity and for competition
    • British Horse Society Instructor BHSII (International Instructor level 2) or equivalent qualification
    • sound training principles in dressage, jumping and eventing and working with horses from the ground
    • significant experience and deeper knowledge in jumping that qualifies you to focus on this discipline
    • best practice in horse care
    • the ability to recognise the responsibility to develop oneself and proactively seeking assistance to meet development needs in order to enable progression and efficiency
    • strong interpersonal and communication skills (English) that enable you to use various techniques and styles to ensure clear and effective communication
    • a team working attitude and recognize responsibility to provide active support and loyalty
    • a good sense for quality and customer service, able to demonstrate clear commitment to achieving high levels of customer service to clients and internal colleagues
    • knowledge of Cantonese which will be an advantage Salary: Negotiable
