  Although not required or essential, knowledge of riding and training of dressage horses would be preferred. This would enable applicant to assist our head trainer with the exercising of our horses.

  Languages spoken at the facility are both English and Spanish. Owners are English, Head Trainer (and other staff) are Spanish.   DEUTSCHSPRACHIGES AUPAIR / GROOM

  Wir sind eine deutsch/spanische Familie mit drei Kindern. Unser aeltester Sohn ist 8 Jahre alt, unsere Tochter 5 und der Juengste ein Monat.
  Da die Kinder auf eine deutsche Schule gehen, ihre Freizeit aber hauptsaechlich aus Pferden und Reiten besteht, wuerden wir gerne ein deutschsprachiges Aupair bei uns in der Familie haben, welches die Nachmittage mit den Kindern und den Pferden verbringt.
  Die Hauptaufgabe waere es mit den Kindern zu spielen und deutsch zu sprechen sowie sie mit den Pferden zu begleiten und auf turniere helfen.
  An den Wochenenden sind wir haeufig auf Turnieren, an denen beinahe die ganze Familie teilnimmt. Unsere Tochter springt schon alleine ueber die kleinsten Hindernisse und unsere aeltester Sohn springt mit seinen beiden Stuten in einer Hoehe von bis zu 110cm in nationalen Tournieren.
  Unter der Woche waere die Betreuung nachmittags, vormittags waere Zeit um zu einer Sprachschule zu gehen, an den Strand oder aehnliches.
  Wir wohnen auf dem Land, in einer Finca mit vielen Tieren, Pferden, einem Pool; mit dem zur Verfuegung gestelltem Roller ist aber alles leicht und schnell zu erreichen (10min Strand, Sprachschule).
  Ausserdem haben wir neben unserem Haus ein eigenes Haus mit Kueche und Badezimmer fuer dich.
  Spanischkenntnisse sind nicht unbedingt erforderlich, da in der Familie viel spanisch gesprochen wird, sollte dies jedoch leicht zu erlernen sein. Salary: ¿?

  Small yard with 10 show jumping horses. We need a groom/aupair to assist my sons who show jump throughout Europe. Most heavy work is handled by stablehand. We need basecally someone to help prepare the horses for riding. Normally we do two shows a month. We offer full room, board, travel expenses + small salery to be agreed and salery plus during shows.   Reliable, practical, strong person required. Take sole charge when/if required of small yard/house when owner is abroad on business. Able to handle/start well behaved youngsters and brood mares. General yard duties, fetching, carrying, feeding, mucking out, dealing with vet etc. and generally everything to do with caring for horses and getting involved. Responsible position, with good sense of humour appreciated too. Caring attitude and honesty a must. Two youngsters to ride/start at present. Aptitude to Natural Horsemanship i.e. Parelli, Monty Roberts, a must and would suit someone who likes and would be proud to show in hand and attend shows.
  Plenty of time off but mornings and approx hour or so, evenings but not every, a neccessity. Steep learning curve for the Natural Horsemanship methods but fun and if interested and have a talent, possibility of dressage lessons.
  Could perhaps, ideally suit an older person (over 25yrs because of vehicle insurance) but they must live-in. Of course, younger applicant considered.
